, napa, concord 80s today close to 90 by monday. san jose you will be well into the 80s starting monday. you had a high of 79 today. oakland 77. look at the coastline with the light onshore flow right along the coast. we were chilly. half moon bay today, only a high of 61 degrees. now let's take a look at what we have coming up tonight and tomorrow morning. it will be a beautiful night. keep the windows open in san francisco down to 50. napa 47. fremont 47. mountain view you will start off your sunday with a low of 50 degrees. radar is clear just love showing it to you. not a drop of rain within about 400 miles of the san francisco bay area. we could use some rainfall. this is when the rainy season wraps up. we're ten inches below average in san francisco. nearly 7" below average for livermore and san jose for the year. but there is zero rainfall in sight for the next several days because of that center of high pressure which two things i want to point out. on it's taking the storm track and shoving it away from us. no rainfall. but still it's farther offshore which is still giving us a
chilly outside. low 60's for you in kentfield. napa, you were the warm spot at 63. downtown san francisco, it got no warmer than 54 all day. a weak area of low pressure sliding by. showers are gone. once again, kpix 5 high deaf doppler is dry. low pressure off to our east, which is very strong. right in between the two, you get a pressure gradient. the stronger the gradient, the stronger the wind is. we have another windy day today. look where the winds are coming from. from the north. that's why it will be a chilly tonight. tomorrow it will still be breezy, and that low is close enough. we'll have winds 15, 20, 25 miles per hour, and it will be chilly. then on wednesday, things change significantly. the low is gone. the wind goes away. that will allow temperatures to climb into the 70's. by thursday, many of you will be back into the 80's and leveling off right around 80 degrees, away from the water. from thursday all the way through the weekend. but tomorrow will be chilly and breezy. concord, 67. san jose, 67 degrees.
'll start off very close to 50 degrees. fremont, 47. in the city, we'll drop down to 50 in fairfield. napa also in the upper 40's. more sunshine tomorrow. taking you down to san leandro. sunshine, 76. that's a five-degree improvement on today. we will add five degrees more on monday. sunny and warm with a high of 81 degrees. you'll likely be in the 80's both monday and tuesday. it's all about high pressure, which is often the case this time of year. but it's not just that we have high pressure keeping us dry. it's where the center of high pressure is located. that determines our winds. as you know, that determines if we're going to have the onshore flow or not. there can be a big swing simply by changing the wind direction. tomorrow, high pressure getting closer, but it's not in a perfect place yet to give us the offshore wind. so a light westerly component to the wind will keep you on the coastline and also you close to the bay a little lower than everyone else, because you're still getting that ocean influence. that changes on monday. we'll have the east wind, the offshore wind. monday a

, about 88 the expected high in livermore, 88 in brentwood, 87 degrees in the napa valley and about 89 in pleasant hill. inside the bay, these temperatures already warming up. we have had to bump up some of these numbers into san francisco. maybe about 80 degrees right there in the city of san francisco. but you look to daly city, you see they will catch a little bit of a sea breeze. that will keep the temperature down there to about 68 and should be about 86 degrees in santa rosa. hey, you know what? that's -- you know what? this is going to be a perfect night to take in the game. if you are headed to the ballpark, it's going to be beautiful, clear, mild, game time temperatures almost 70 degrees at 7:15 tonight. as we look over the next couple of days, we'll notice some changes. that high pressure begins to weekend. we'll see more of a sea breeze kicking in and eventually into wednesday morning, we'll probably see some low clouds and fog returning to the bay area. that will help to cool down your temperatures probably through thursday, maybe in buxtekenlooking good too. astal fog, lot
